1860 (22 Oct.) long blue envelope to London "Viâ Spain" with G.B. 1855-57 6d. (wing margin) and 1/- pair cancelled by "A26" barred ovals and manuscript "No25 Registered" in red ink and, written across the corner, "too late for today's mail" in light red ink, a fine strike of Gibraltar code "B" c.d.s. in blue with the crown/"registered" (sans-serif letters and St. Edward's crown) and the standard-type London registered dated oval (31.10) with arrival c.d.s. on the reverse. A few tone spots around the adhesives. A good cover with this unusual endorsement
