1861 (16th Mar.) small envelope to London bearing 1850 2gr plate III and 50gr. cancelled by boxed "annullato" in black and tied by "chargé" in red, there is a fair strike of the despatch c.d.s, and straight-line "assicuata", boxed "P.D." in red, French 2 Siciles c.d.s, standard-type London registered dated oval (21.3) code "AD" and a good strike of the etremely rare "france/registered" around crown in red (A&H 1499) which also tied the adhesives. Wax seals on the reverse along with Paris transit. Some light soiling which does not detract from this very important cover with its scarce franking
