Brocklehurst envelope to Macclesfield bearing 1d. red-brown, MK (large to very large even margins) just tied by a neat "895" numeral and with open circle Wirksworth despatch c.d.s. in blue, marked "Registered P 6" in red ink. Also 1849 (8 Mar.) another envelope from the same correspondence but bearing 1841 2d. blue, plate 3, AE (good to very large margins). Stunning quality making a highly desirable pair of covers. (2)
