1847 (5 June) part printed entire to Macclesfield bearing 2d. blue, plate 3, IK-IL pair (just touching to large margins) tied by London "24" numerals, marked "registered" and "1/-" with Lombard Street Paid Maltese Cross despatch datestamp. The front has also been marked "LH (1)" by the sender indicating that the inside contained the left half of a banknote (the recommended procedure for sending money at this time). A good cover
