1860 officer's mourning envelope marked as from C.W. Beynard Gulf of Pechili bearing G.B. 1d. Stars (plate 27, 8) cancelled by light strikes of the P&O "A88" barred oval, the reverse with a light strike of Hereford arrival c.d.s. 1860 (Sept.); three of the adhesives have had their perfs. trimmed at foot and the stamps have been lifted and replaced. An unusual and desirable envelope. R.P.S. Certificate (1999)
