1867 (3 July) entire from Montego Bay to Brussels, bearing 3d. green and 1/- purple-brown, both with wing-margins and cancelled by horizontal barred oval "A56", showing "1/2" accountancy mark in magenta ink (deleted), London Paid datestamp and circular-framed "pd", both in red, the reverse with Montego Bay, Kingston (24.1), "angleterre/amb. quest 2" (18.2) and Brussels (18.2) datestamps. A rare and unusual destination with the horizontal barred oval "A56" previously only recorded the once on 26 December 1863. An attractive franking. Photo
