1859 (11 July) entire letter from Kingston "via Ostende" to Bremen, bearing 1d. rose-red (4), 4d. rose-carmine and 6d. lilac (2) all neatly cancelled "A01" with "kingston-jamaica" K9b datestamp alongside and tying one of the 6d. values, showing manuscript "6" postage to UK, London Paid datestamp (5.8) and oval-framed "p.", all on face, Bremen arrival datestamp (7.8) on reverse; vertical crease crosses one of the 1d. and 6d. values, nevertheless a very rare and spectacular franking, and one of only two recorded to Germany.
