1878 (22 Jan.) envelope from Pretoria to Scotland, bearing 1877-79 imperf 6d. blue on green overprinted "v.r./Transvaal" (Setting I) cancelled "1" in concentric rings, in combination with Cape 1d. (2) and 4d. twice cancelled with "1" in barred oval and additionally tied by Cape Town c.d.s. (1.1), and showing Pretoria despatc datestamp at lower left; the 6d. with some slight soiling, otherwise fine and most attractive. Hunziker Certificate (1964). Photo

Note: The cover was carried on the "Nyanza" which sailed on 5 February and offloaded the mails on 28 February.
