1879 envelope to Switzerland, marked "Diamondfields and England", bearing 1877-79 fine roulette 3d. mauve on green vertical pair tied by "43" in concentric rings, in combination with Cape ½d., 1d. and 6d., the first defaced with blue crayon, the others tied by Cape Town c.d.s. (1.9), showing handstruck "2½d" and London Paid transit c.d.s. (27.9) in red with, on reverse, Pretoria datestamp (29.8); the adhesives with some lightly stained perfs and the envelope a little soiled and with some other imperfections, nevertheless a colourful and rare combination cover.
