1876 (1 June) envelope from Bloemfontein to Berlin, bearing Orange Free State 6d. centrally cancelled by "1" barred oval, in combination with Cape of Good Hope 1d. pair (partly affixed around right edge of envelope), 4d. and 1/-, all tied by barred oval "1", showing Cape Town c.d.s. (7.6), "T" h.s. additionally tying the 1/-, manuscript "2d" (deleted), blue crayon "220" (deleted) and "260" with, on reverse, despatch, London (10.7) and arrival datestamps. A rare and most attractive underpaid franking. Photo
