1859 (21 July) entire letter from Cape Town to London and redirected locally, bearing 1858 6d. rose-lilac tied by triangular obliterator, showing red crayon "5" and London Paid arrival c.d.s. (25.5) with despatch datestamp on reverse; upon redirection 1d. "star" affixed over the 6d. and tied by London "73" duplex; the entire letter with some faults though an unusual item sent at the 6d. rate. B.P.A. Certificate (1988). Photo
