1892 (15 Feb.) triple rate envelope (224x103mm.; folded) to London, bearing 1891 2d. strips of three (2, two stamps defective), all cancelled by smudgy "555" barred numeral, showing "vryburg" c.d.s. below and, on reverse, Cape Town (17.2) and arrival datestamps; the envelope creased clear of adhesives and with some foxing but an unusual franking.
