1859 (11 Feb.) double rate entire from Ballarat to Hamburg, marked "via England", bearing Woodblock imperf 2/- (damaged at lower left prior to application) and Emblem imperf 4d., both clearly tied by Barred Numeral "5", showing manuscript "1/4", oval-framed "p", red London Paid transit c.d.s. (11.4) and, on reverse, despatch, Melbourne (12.2) and arrival (13.4) datestamps. A rare franking to Germany. Photo
