Charles II (1660-1685), Half-Guinea, 1676 over 4, second laureate head right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 4.24g, 6h (Spink 3348; MCE 100), a hint of reddish tone overlying lustrous surfaces, near extremely fine and rare, especially so in this condition, in NGC 'Sweetnam' holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #5878635-002)
