Charles II (1660-1685), Guinea, 1679, fourth laureate head right, with rounded truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 8.30g, 6h (Spink 3344; MCE 80; Schneider II, 446; Stratos 74), a small die flaw above CAROLVS, otherwise a superb coin with flashes of orange-blue overlying lustrous, original mint surfaces, good very fine to approaching extremely fine, seldom seen this nice, very rare thus
