Shanghai 1c. letter card (edges trimmed off) to Germany with 1c. red tied by a fine strike of "chefoo/local post" dated oval in purple with German Eagle 20pf. tied by Shanghai c.d.s. and a good strike of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (22.11) alongside and, on the reverse, further despatch oval and Wiesbaden arrival c.d.s. (30.12). Scarce early use. Clean and fine. Signed by Peter Holcombe
