1897 (5 Jan.) Gunzburg envelope to Shanghai bearing a fine strike of the double-framed boxed "PAID" handstamp in black and, on the reverse, Hankow Local Post c.d.s. in black, Shanghai Local Post arrival (8.1) in red along with the postman's pencil delivery characters. Clean and fine.


A rare marking, it is thought that maybe only five covers are known
