1896 (6 Nov.) neat envelope to Shanghai with handstamp of "banque russo-chinoise." and bearing a fair strike of double-framed boxed "PAID" struck in red and, on the reverse, a good strike of Hankow Local Post c.d.s. in red and an indistinct strike of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. with postman's pencil notation. Fresh and fine. This is a very rare handstamp and it is thought that there may be less than five covers recorded and this is particularly desirable being struck in red
