1895 (1 Jan.) opened-out envelope used as a newspaper wrapper to carry "2 papers" addressed to New York and bears 1894 ½ca. tied by the Ichang oblong datestamp with the error of yeardate "94". Used with a pair of Hong Kong 2c. carmine tied by the British Post Office Shanghai c.d.s. (2 2) and readdressed on arrival. A few peripheral faults but a fine and rare printed paper rate cover. There is a note on the reverse, "With H.F. Brady's Compls."
