1896 (5 Nov.) 2ca. card to Chelsea in London cancelled by Chungking oblong datestamp in purple and with Great Britain 1897 Jubilee ½d. well tied by Eastbourne (26.12) c.d.s.. The card subsequently readdressed to Battersea. The message written by Alicia Little. The card with a rather heavy vertical crease which has been partly reinforced on the reverse.

A most unusual and intriguing card which was carried from Chungking to Shanghai by the Local Post service thence carried by favour to England where it was posted in Eastbourne. The ½d. pays the internal post card rate. Unique as such
