Germany: West Prussian Mining Co. Ltd., pair of certificates for £1 ordinary shares, and 8% preference shares, both 1[897], both #4, siged by Wyndham H. Wynne and Brinsley de Courcy Nixon as directors, black and blue respectively. Registered in 1875 to acquire the mines of the Westphalian and HeidelbergSilver-Lead Mining Companies in Westphalia and Anhalt, some 23,500 acres. Brinsley de Courcy Nixon (1825-1903), banker, founder of the London & Provincial bank and financier of John Hughes in Russia. Wyndham Wynne (1840-1910), mining engineer, and his family had considerable mining interests in Germany. Died in Cologne in 1910. VF and rare (2).
