Germany: Saarburg Moselle Export Co. Ltd., 5% debenture for £100, (1899), #68, issued to Baron von Eckhardstein, plain printing, 4-pages, black, only 150 issued. Baron Hermann von Eckardstein (1864-1933), diplomat and soldier, serving in London 1891-1901. The company exported wines from the Moselle region to the UK, U.S.A and Commonwealth countries. As the directors also seem to be of German origin we would assume the company was wound up at the utbreak of WWI. EF.
