1875-76 envelopes (6, four with contents) ex the Fisher correspondence from Manchester or Nottingham to Grahamstown, carried on the African (3), American, Anglian and Asiatic, all franked at 1/- with two bearing 6d. pairs and the others with 1/- green, one (a little soiled) date on 26 September and scheduled for sailing on 28 September, thus eligible for the 6d. rate, the accountancy mark of "3", showing a 6d. rate with the Cape , proving that this was treated as a single rate ship letter, and 1876 (Sept.) envelopes also to Grahamstown, both carried on the disastrous voyage of the Windsor Castle which was wrecked off Dassen Island while approaching Cape Town and taken on the remainder of the journey by the Florence, both bearing 6d. grey and with Cape Town transit datestamp (20.10), the last Currie sailing from Dartmouth prior to the contract of 1876
