1870-72 envelopes (3) to Natal, one from Chatham to Durban bearing wing-margin 3d. and 9d. cancelled with "173" duplex, one from London to Cape Town and redirected to Pietermaritzburg bearing 1/- and showing manuscript "6" and boxed "to pay", both carried on the Saxon, a mourning envelope from Edinburgh to Weenen bearing 1/- with "131" duplex; and 1873 envelopes (2) to Natal both franked at 1/- and rated as double letters with different Deficient Postage/Half Fine handstamp for a double weight item and later "2/-", 1/- underpaid due to the U.K. plus 1/- fine divided with the colony
