1864-67 envelopes (6) from Cape Town (3), Alice (possibly written by the Rev. William Govan from Lovedale Mission near Alice), Cradock and another location in the Eastern Cape, all to the U.K. and carried on the Briton, Cambrian, Celt. Norseman (2) and Saxon, five bearing 1/- green, three with triangular cancellations and the last bearing 4d. blue strip of three with indistinct Grahamstown obliterator applied in transit; a couple creased or soiled though generally of good to fine appearance
