1854 (25 Feb.) entire from Wakefield to Port Natal, bearing embossed 1/- green with clear to very large margins and cancelled "851", Natal Crown datestamp in blue at foot, despatch and London datestamps on reverse, carried by the Propontis from Southampton to Cape Town and taken on to Natal by the GSSSCo's coastal steamer Natal under contract to the Natal government, Natal Crown datestamp in blue at foot. This was the last GSSSCo sailing under the Indian Ocean contract and their last sailing under the Natal contract. Photo
