Note: The first report of this error was in the "Philatelic Record" in December 1891 and was listed by Stanley Gibbons in 1903. Although no catalogue distinction has been made, it appears that the second printing in the upright position is rarer than the inverted. Fourteen examples have been recorded in private hands.
