Elizabeth Craven
1795 (4 Aug.) ALS over two pages to unknown correspondent informing him that the "Comte de Seigneley who is gone with Lord Moira, was robbed by a French servant of his that had lived with for thirty years", it appears that having been disappointed with his wages, the servant "went off with his master's cloaths - not excepting the scarlet uniform. And there are now in London many French Vagrant servants all Jacobins who have left their masters in the same manner". Signed "Elizabeth M. Brandenbourg". An interesting letter.
