1858 ALS from Buckingham Palace to a correspondent with name redacted returning the plan for the defence of Portsmouth "which has received the Queen's approval". Sold together with 1856 (20 Jan.) ALS from C. R. Phipps, Prince Albert's secretary, to W. Eastlake relaying Prince Albert's "pleasure with which he has heard of the successful establishment of the Plymouth School of Art", enclosing also a cheque for £25.
