1820 (24 January) ALS on mourning letter paper from Carlton House to King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies regarding announcing the "decease of my dear Brother His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent". Document folded in the usual manner bearing black wax seals with original black silk ties. Signed "George PR".

Just five days after this letter was set, King George III died of his illness and George the long awaited Prince Regent became King George IV.
