In their view she is influenced by Lord Melbourne"; 1838 ALS with reference to "filly Copenhagen", two ALS 'orders to view' at Apsley House, 1839 ALS to General Sir Willoughby Gordon regarding a paper to be debated in the House of Lords, 1841 ALS to Mrs. Cross giving complex instructions on the post, or "Official Boxes", and 1846 ALS to Mrs. Cross requesting "boiled fowl and rice ale etc." for breakfast.
