Duke of Wellington
1841 (25th Dec.), Dublin, two ALS from "W. Booth" to Wellington, both with endorsement or note on reverse in Wellington's hand. One letter refers to an "unpleasant and embarrassing correspondence" regarding "letters furnished by General O'Lawler" that comment on "Lord Londonderry's attack on the General", bringing Booth to the same conclusion that he had previously from reading Londonderry's book - "that His Lordship has been impugned by some Spaniard at Granada". The other letter regarding "the Rate of Exchange at which the Portuguese Bill ... should be paid". An interesting exchange.
