1792 (11 April) document signed. An order that "out of such Monies as are in or shall come to your hands from the Sum voted & appropriated to defray Charges incurred by the last Armament, you do pay unto Our Trusty & Welbeloved Captain Alexander Perkins Lindsay, the Sume of One hundred, ninety three Pound, three Shillings & tenpence ... being for the Levy Money & Pay of sundry Non Commissioned Officers & Private Men raised by him towards forming an Independent Company of Foot". Signed "George R" - large and clear - to the top, Countersigned by Sir George Young, and with an endorsement on the reverse to show money received signed "Mornington" among others. Paper brittle on right  edge.
