1791 (4 August) ALS with integral address panel intact (also signed "Grafton") to "Mr. Wedgwood" (Josiah) at his warehouse in Greek St. requesting that "Mr. Wedgwood is desired to send by the next Monday's Towcester wagon directed to the Duke of Grafton near Stony Stratford 6 wash hand basins & Ewers, with coloured edges, of different colours, 2 of each to match ... Goods sent in the Country ought always to be examined with more attention, as a faulty shape etc is more difficult to replace". Signed "Grafton".
