1933 (Aug.) Bailey envelope to Srinagar, Kashmir bearing perforated 2/3 t. dark blue tied by bilingual Lhasa type T42 postmark which shows the double outer rings, the reverse, a superb strike of Chushu type 2 postmark struck in black which clearly shows the double rings. The top of the envelope with Tibetan script which reads, "Please hand to British colonel F.M. Bailey, Srinagar, Kashmir, from Zasac Nordon" (the Lhasa postmaster) and is dated the thirteenth day of the sixth month (Tibetan calendar). There is a vertical crease at left. Philatelic but still a very good early cover. Photo
