1933 (23 Aug.) Bailey envelope to Srinagar, Kashmir bearing perforated ½t. orange tied by bilingual Lhasa type T42 postmark which shows the double outer rings, the reverse, a superb strike of Chushu type 2 postmark struck in black, and early strike which clearly shows the double rings. The top of the envelope with Tibetan script which reads, "Please hand to British colonel F.M. Bailey, Srinagar, Kashmir, from Zasac Nordon" (the Lhasa postmaster) and is dated the thirteenth day of the sixth month (Tibetan calendar). The adhesive has oxidised to a largely yellow-brown colour.
