British War Medal 1914-20 (S. Lt. S. Wiggleworth. R.N.V.R.), some verdigris, contact marks, claw loose, nearly very fine

Sydney Wrigglesworth served as a Sub Lieutenant aboard the Duchess of Buccleugh- a minesweeper and auxiliary vessel. On 5 February 1917 he was reported for using bad language to a Signalman and considered 'unsuitable as an officer'. He was discharged on 21 February 1917.
