Military General Service 1793-1814, 3 clasps, Vimiera, Corunna, Orthes (Timothy Carline, 6th Foot.), edge bruising, very fine

Timothy Carline was born at St Mary's, Nottingham and served in the Roxburgh and Selkirk Fencibles (Cavalry) from 1 March-26 August 1800, before joining the 23rd Light Dragoons, who he served with until 30 September 1802. Transferred to the 6th Foot on 3 October 1802 and served with that regiment until he was discharged 'worn out' on 24 July 1821; sold with copied service record.
