Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (Charles Winders, P. O. 1 Cl., H.M.S. Benbow.), pitting, nearly very fine

Charles Winders was born at Moville, County Donegal on 11 January 1871. He began his service with the Royal Navy in July 1896 aboard Lion and served with a number of other vessels over his career; including the Admiral-class battleship Benbow. He served during the First World War in a number of training establishment including Defiance and Powerful; sold with copied Service Record.
