Sidney George Johns was born at Fenny Stratford, Buckinghamshire on 5 June 1889 and was a dairyman upon his enlistment on 10 May 1917. He served afloat Cornwall from 4 August 1917, escorting a troopship to Canada and served on the North Atlantic and West Indies Station escorting ships. Johns was demobilized on 15 February 1919; sold with copied service record.
