British War and Victory Medals (K.36976 A. E. Cuppleditch. Sto. 1. R.N.), good very fine (2)

Alfred Edward Cuppleditch was born on 1 June 1887 at Boston, Lincolnshire and was a plasterer by trade upon his enlistment in the Royal Navy on 5 October 1916. He served aboard Onslaught from 17 January 1917-1 March 1919 and was thence demobilised ashore. She was grounded in October 1917 which cost the life of an Able Seaman drowned and latterly was with the Third Destroyer Flotilla; sold with copied service record.
