In scarlet wool bunting, measuring 152 mm x 254 mm, triangular with a border of twisted cord, attached to a ferrous-metal rod wrapped in scarlet silk or cotton and having, attached to it with a steel pin, a piece of paper bearing, in Dobell's hand, the ink inscription: My car banner when I Commanded Western Force Egyptian Expeditionary Force 1916.

Some small tears but generally good condition.
