Geoffrey William McNeill was born in December 1981 and enlisted in the Royal Irish on 14 November 2000. He served with 'A' (Public Order) Company in Belfast in 2001 and latterly in Iraq, passing the Infantry Jungle Cadre in October 2004. Due for his discharge in November 2006, he passed selection and signed his Oath of Allegiance and joined 'G' Squadron, 23rd Special Air Service (Reserve) Regiment on 13 January 2007; sold together with named box of issue for the Iraq Medal, original Oath, copied Certificate of Qualifications and group photograph.
