M.M. London Gazette 11 November 1916.

John William Hood served in France with the King's Royal Rifle Corps and the 62nd Company, Machine Gun Corps as a Colour-Sergeant and was discharged on 9 February 1919; sold with copied MIC - which confirms entitlement to a Pair - and Gazette extract.
