1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; War Medal 1939-45, with named O.H.M.S. box of issue to 'Mrs H. M. Stephenson, 56, Lord Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire.', and typed condolence slip to 'Pte Ronald Stephenson.', good very fine (3)

Ronald Stephenson was born in January 1922 at Grimsby, the son of Hannah Mary Stephenson of Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Reported as missing on 25 September 1944, he was later confirmed as killed in action whilst serving at Headquarters, 1st Parachute Brigade, Parachute Regiment, Army Air Corps. Aged 22 years, he rests in Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery; sold with original Army Form B.104-82B., informing the recipient's mother of his death 'in the Netherlands' on 18 September 1944, with copied research.
