1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45, with O.H.M.S. box of issue named to 'Mrs M. Edwards, 34 Aske St---, --itfi--- S-', with original compliment slip named to 'L/Cpl G Edwards', the box worn with part of label removed, otherwise extremely fine (3)

Believed to be George Edwards (No. 5775482), who served in Malaya with the 4th Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment. The 1938 electoral roll records Alfred Edwards, Margaret Annie Edwards and William Henry Edwards living at 34 Aske Gardens, Pitfield Street, Hackney, North London. It further notes George Harry Edwards, Mary Elizabeth Edwards and George Harry Edwards Jnr. living at 65 Aske Gardens, Pitfield Street.
