Arthur Cyril Patrick Waddoups was born on 26 July 1917 and was a wagon painter for the London North Eastern Railway upon his enlistment at Fleet on 20 June 1940. He served with the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and the 1st Battalion, The Buffs; sold together with original Chindit cloth Badge, Soldier's Service and Pay Book, Release Book, Buffs shoulder title and Burma Star Association Badge.
