British War Medal 1914-20 (W.O.2. A. E. Kitsell. R.N.A.S.), nearly extremely fine

Archibald Edward Kitsell was born on 15 January 1877 and served with the Royal Naval Air Service from 9 October 1916. His service record notes secondment as Inspector to the Sopwith Aviation Company, Short Brothers and the Ministry of Munitions from 1 April 1917. He was later appointed Honorary Lieutenant in the R.A.F., where he continued to work in a similar role, before being transferred to the unemployed list on 1 February 1919.
