1865 (19 Aug.) Wingate envelope to the American Consul in Swatow bearing U.S. 1861-62 3c. brownish rose, 10c. deep green (4, one defective when applied to the envelope) with 2c. Black Jack tied by concentric circles and Concord despatch c.d.s. with New York British Packet (23.8), handstruck "40" and London Paid c.d.s. (2.9) struck in red and, on the reverse, Hong Kong transit (25.10) struck on blue. A fine and colourful franking. Photo


1865年8月19日美國寄汕頭美國領事封， 貼1861-62美國3仙票， 2仙票各一枚及4仙票四枚， 銷新罕布希爾州首府康科德 (Concord) 戳， 8月23日銷紅色紐約"BR.PKT"(英國郵輪)日戳， 及9月2日紅色倫敦圓型"PAID"日戳， 另有"40"及"1d" 等印記， 意即須支付於40仙給英國政府; 封背蓋10月25日藍色香港中轉戳. 充滿色彩的進口封， 保存良好.
