1896 (18 Feb.) opened-out envelope to New York bearing 1c. green tied by code "T" c.d.s. with pair of Japan Koban 5s. tied by "shanghai/i.j.p.o." c.d.s. and, on the reverse, further despatch, Shanghai Local Post (25.2), Yokohama (4.3), San Francisco (19.3) and New York c.d.s. A scarce cover being single rare for Foochow but double rate for the Japanese Post Office. Photo

1896年2月18日福州寄美國紐約破剖封， 貼綠色壹仙票， 銷帶"T"字福州英文日戳， 另貼一對日本小判五錢票， 銷上海日本客郵日戳， 封背蓋同一福州戳， 2月25日上海工部及3月4日横濱的中轉戳， 旁有3月19日三藩市戳及紐約到達日戳， 不多見所雙信重量郵資封. 流傳: 1988年12月Richard W. Canman.
